Doddy brings 27 years of leadership design leadership experience in Indonesia and the Pacific Northwest. Educated at the University of Washington, Doddy is a passionate advocate for design-tech integration, he initiated an exchange program with DDG Baltimore to broaden studio horizons. A self-made home barista, Doddy enjoys running and biking across Indonesia’s islands whenever he's not guiding the studio forward.
With 28 years of architectural practice and a parallel life in education, Indri co-leads the Jakarta studio alongside Doddy. She brings clarity, structure, and care to civic and educational projects. Indri balances precision with mentorship, and in her off-hours, pursues her love of street photography—capturing city life across Jakarta and beyond in search of compelling urban moments.
Anjani is the steady heart of project delivery—bridging people, timelines, and outcomes with quiet focus. A young leader with natural discipline, she manages studio operations and project flows between Bandung, Jakarta, and field sites. Outside the studio, she enjoys traveling to lesser-known cities with her husband, always bringing curiosity and warmth wherever she goes.
Stella brings global exposure and creative energy to large-scale planning. From her AIM+HDA internship at DDG Baltimore to masterplanning over 100,000 hectares across Indonesia, she leads with imagination and efficiency. A mother of two boys, Stella balances fast-paced projects and family life—wearing both hats with grace and an eye for detail.
Anita leads detailed design projects and contributes to HDA’s Research & Development team. Her strengths lie in form, sequencing, and storytelling across scales. When not sketching or testing new tools, she loves wandering through Japanese cities—observing urban life and culture over slow coffee in her favorite hidden café corners.
Annisha—or Isha, as she's known in the studio—adds a spark of freshness and skill. Recently married to a fellow designer, she brings strong 3D modeling and grounded design thinking. She has worked on environmental and tourism facilities in Bogor and Sulawesi, and thrives during site visits where her questions reveal the heart of each project.
Astri approaches design with precision and quiet creativity. She specializes in optimizing land use and unit composition—often mapping numbers before the conversation begins. Her logical clarity is matched with an artistic touch. Off-hours, she enjoys ambient playlists and analyzing plans with music playing in high-end headphones.
Casmirah is the backbone of coordination at HDA. She connects teams, tracks timelines, and ensures nothing falls through the cracks. From managing vendor calls to prepping design decks, she brings calm focus and sharp timing. You’ll likely hear her voice before you see her—or catch her checking updates from her phone with coffee in hand.
Ridzka—or Aldi—is HDA’s go-to tech lead. He maintains the studio’s digital infrastructure and actively experiments with AI to support creative workflows. Whether debugging systems or writing prompt libraries for our internal bots, Aldi brings quiet consistency to a fast-moving studio. He’s always two clicks ahead of the problem you didn’t know you had.
We are based in Indonesia, but geography doesn’t define our boundaries. Our team works fluidly across Bandung, Kelapa Gading, Depok, Bekasi, Osaka, and Lombok — and we collaborate as seamlessly online as we do face-to-face.
